Mary Fuller Named to Silicon Valley Women of Influence List
Mary Fuller, Founder and Principal of Fuller Tech Law, was named to the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Women of Influence list for 2020.
Fuller is honored along with leaders of corporations, startups, small businesses, nonprofits, healthcare, education and community services. All of these honorees came from outside nominations and were chosen by a panel of Business Journal editors and past Women of Influence honorees.
“It’s an understatement to say that 2020 is an incredibly challenging time in Silicon Valley. What’s not an understatement is the recognition that this region has an abundance of intelligent, ambitious, strategic, creative and compassionate women in business who are poised to help lead the Valley through these uncertain times,” said J. Jennings Moss, the Business Journal’s editor in chief and general manager. A dinner recognizing the honorees will be held Oct. 15, 2020, after shelter-in-place restrictions have loosened.
“It is wonderful to see so many strong women recognized for their leadership,” Fuller said. “I know many of them, and look forward to meeting others.”
In an interview with the Business Times, Fuller shared how she’s been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
How your world has been affected by Covid-19: I’m getting to know my clients and colleagues in an entirely different context. I can see their children’s art on the wall behind them and can see more of what makes them tick. We’ve had virtual lunch meetings and happy hours. I think these multi-contextual communications are creating deeper relationships that will outlast Covid-19. And I’ve seen individuals who were perhaps struggling in some way before the pandemic really rise to the occasion. It’s incredibly life-affirming and heartening, despite the tragedy around us.
